Nudo Sculptural Vase – Local Refractory Clay (Unique Piece)

The Raw Beauty of Local Earth
This sculptural piece is a tribute to the raw, untamed nature of materials. Hand-built in my Florence atelier, it is crafted from local refractory clay, a material known for its high resistance and incredible, coarse texture that recalls the ancient geological layers of Tuscany.

Sculptural Form
Built using the coiling technique, the vase features a deeply tactile and irregular surface. The "Nudo" (Naked) finish celebrates the clay in its purest state: unglazed, porous, and powerful. Every mark left by the hands is a testament to the slow, meditative process of creation.

Artisan Note
This is a decorative sculpture. To preserve the integrity of the local refractory clay and its raw finish, the vase is not glazed and not suitable for holding water. It is designed to stand alone as a statement piece or to hold dry botanical elements.
