From Music to Clay: A Journey of Discovery
My creative path began in a different world. Trained as a classical musician, I reached a turning point in 2016 when a deep desire for change became essential. I set out to explore new cultures and experiences, traveling constantly for four years. It was during this movement that I encountered ceramics—a discovery so profound that by the end of 2020, I committed fully to the extraordinary world of clay.
This journey led me to open my own pottery studio in the heart of the Oltrarno district in Florence in May 2022.
Craftsmanship & Minimalism
Largely self-taught, I believe in the philosophy of learning through making. I have spent countless hours at the wheel, refining my throwing technique and studying the complex chemistry of glazes. My work is guided by a strong sense of simplicity and minimalism. I design functional domestic objects conceived for everyday use, each one entirely handmade by me at Via Romana 118r.
More recently, I have embraced the sculptural side of ceramics. By exploring ancient hand-building techniques, I have opened a new dialogue with the material, creating pieces that balance organic textures with refined, contemporary forms.
Design & Collaborations
The response to my work has opened exciting doors within the world of international design. My ceramics have been featured by Tacchini Furniture Design at their Milan showroom for Salone del Mobile 2023, and by Nature Design and Cierre 1972 for the 2024 edition.
I am proud to have my pieces selected by Marazzi Design and Valcucine for their headquarters and current catalogues, appearing alongside prestigious brands such as Miniforms, Saba, Lenzi Home, and Guarnieri.
The Atelier: A Space for Sharing
My studio is not just a place of production, but a center for craftsmanship and education. I host intimate workshops and private lessons in both Italian and English, inviting locals and travelers to slow down and experience the transformative power of clay.
